Baltic research company RAIT has agreed with GfK SE to acquire the GfK custom research operations in the Baltics. Transaction does not include the GfK Retail and Technology part.

CEO of RAIT Group Kaspar Jänes said that the two Baltic companies together will form a very strong market player with 40 employees located in three offices in all Baltic capital cities.

RAIT is a Pan-Baltic research company which was established in 1993 and it is the largest independent research company in the region. RAIT has been building a strong market research company in the Baltics and this acquisiton fits the strategy well.

RAIT will be the official preferred partner of GfK in the Baltics. The companies will work closely together to assure that the clients get the best possible solutions.

The managing director of SIA RAIT Custom Research Baltic will remain Mara Taurina as before. “I am glad that we found common ground with RAIT as the companies are a perfect match”, said Taurina.
